The Life Artistic

MICHAEL LAM, born in Hong Kong in 1977, has been interested in painting from a very early age. He works in a variety of media -- Oil and Lacquer on canvas and pencil on paper; his painting style is abstract & surrealism. While he had taught body art in a make-up school, his Body Painting works had appeared in many events. Michael's pieces have been nominated and awarded in numerous artistic events. His works are extremely popular among local and international collectors from countries like Singapore, France, England, Japan, China and Australia.

Michael has worked with many international brands and hotels including: Lan Kwai Fong Hotel, Harbour City, Times Square, McKinsy & Co., CLSA, Kee Club, American Express, Cathay Pacific, Nomura, Lancome, Loewe, Le Sportsac, Piaget, Longchamp, Remy Martin, Escada, CANON, Salvatore Ferragamo and Venue Vicquot Ponsardm, etc.

Michael regularly participated in many local and oversea projects --
We can find his art pieces in the movie "ALL ABOUT LOVE;" he gave an Art Talk for Philippe Charriol Foundation's 20th anniversary to promote development of local arts; he did Body Painting works on Mr. Jackie Chan's face for the charity project "Save China's Tigers 2007," and again another Body Painting work for "UNICEF China Children's Week 2011." Painting exhibition in Art Revolution Taipei at World Trade Centre, Taipei 2012. Body painting for Venetian Hotel 6th Anniversary, Macau 2013. Art performance for Le French May at AZURE Hotel, hong kong 2014.

He generously donated a painting for each auction -- “AIDS Concern 2003,” “The Standard Chartered Bank British Chamber of Commerce Annual Ball 2009,” and “Charity Auction for China Red Cross & AIDS 2010 in Shanghai.”
