Art Central is Hong Kong’s new contemporary art fair showcasing the next generation of talent alongside some of the most established galleries and art spaces from around the globe. The inaugural edition takes place from 14 - 16 March (VIP Preview 13 March) in a 10,000sqm temporary structure on the new Central Harbourfront. Discover cutting-edge contemporary art from more than 75 international galleries, from 21 countries, with approximately 65% of exhibitors from greater Asia.

Launched by the founders of ART HK, this world-class satellite fair is the latest addition to Hong Kong’s international art week and is a must-see contemporary art event on Hong Kong’s cultural calendar.

The inaugural edition of Art Central features an international selection of over 75 contemporary galleries from 21 countries, 65% of which are from greater Asia. The Exhibiting Galleries also includes 18 galleries from Hong Kong and 31 galleries that are exhibiting in the city for the first time.

Ensuring Art Central is the very best place to eat and drink during Hong Kong Art Week, we are delighted to announce that one of Hong Kong's newest restaurants, The Continental is creating a pop up at the heart of the fair.

The award-winning British Chef and Financial Times Weekend Magazine food writer Rowley Leigh will be drawing inspiration from the grand cafes of Europe and menus will feature brunch, lunch and all day dining options from 11am each day.

| TALKS PROGRAM |

Art Central is pleased to announce that the Asia Society Hong Kong Center will present a series of free talks and panel discussions in our purpose-built auditorium each day of the fair. The program will inspire and encourage an open dialogue about artistic and curatorial practices in Asia and beyond. Engaging with the prominent theme of ink art at the fair, Asia Society Hong Kong Center will lead an exciting panel discussion amongst emerging ink artists featuring a stimulating discourse on both traditional and contemporary practices, moderated by curator and ink specialist Tiffany Beres.

| KIDS PROGRAM |

Children’s Education Partner, Art Loop will offer an interactive, entertaining and informative introduction to art and art history to children of all ages. The Kids Program features daily interactive tours of the fair where children will be encouraged to listen, look and use their imagination to create the stories behind different artworks by leading international artists.
